The major objectives of the safe space were, To strengthen the community safe spaces through working with community existing structures like VHTs, LC I and community change champions. To address sexual and reproductive health related concerns among the marginalized young people in the community. During the safe space, the discussions took the form of participatory method like focused group discussions or brainstorming among the adolescents and young adults to enhance proactive participation. Presentation of issues were raised by youths towards the acquisition of the YFS at health facilities was done and the action plan was developed to address the concerns raised by the young people on what issues affect them from fully utilizing the available SRHR/SGBV/HIV service from the health facilities to ensure the concerns of the youths are taken into account. 51 young people were reached with the information on the youth friendly SRHR/GBV/HIV including 25 persons; 13 females and 12 males living with disabilities like visual impairment, physical impairment, hearing impairment, and speech impairment to enhance informed decision making, Involving persons living with disabilities during the safe space discussions on SRHR/HIV/GBV ensured inclusivity of the minoritized voices of the PWDS in addressing the challenges they face in acquiring YFS (Youth Friendly Services) in the health facility.
