Mbale Network of Young People Living with HIV/AIDS (MNYPA), with support from TASO and the Global Fund, is implementing a Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) project to improve the accessibility, availability, and quality of HIV, TB, malaria, and SRHR services in Mbale District. Through this initiative, trained community monitors work alongside health facilities and district leaders to collect real-time feedback from service users, identify gaps in care, and promote evidence-based solutions. The project strengthens accountability by ensuring that communities, especially young people living with HIV and other affected groups, have a direct voice in how health services are planned, delivered, and improved. By fostering collaboration between communities and duty bearers, CLM is helping to enhance ART retention, reduce stigma, and build a more responsive and people-centered health system in Mbale.
